yes, you can definitely apply for UPSc civil Services exam after completing BBA/MBA from Deemed University. there is no question of whether your university Deemed or not. the thing that matter is your university must be recognized by UGC or AICTE or both.

Civil Services exam is conducted for the posts of IAS, IPS, IFS, IRS etc.

the exam is conducted in three phases:
>>Prelims
>>Mains
>>Interview

Eligibility Criteria For Civil Services:


>>you must have completed or appearing in final year of graduation.
>>your age must be within 21 years to 30 years on 1 August of the year of exam. there is relaxation in upper age limit up to 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST candidates.

Every year the UPSC conducts examinations for recruitment to the Indian Civil Services for the post Given below :

1.Indian Administrative Sevice
2.Indian Civil Service
3.Indian Police Service

Examination is conducted in 3 stages :

1) Civil Service Aptitude Test ( CSAT )
2) Civil Service Examination (Mains) conducted for the candidates selected in the Preliminary Examination.
3) Those who are selected in main Examination are eligible to appear before the interview board.

Eligibility Criteria

1) Nationality :

a) Only Indians are eligible for IPS and IAS.
b) For other services a candidate can be either of following :

- A citizen of India
- A subject of Nepal
- A subject of Bhutan
- A Tibetan Refujee who came in India before January 1, 1962 with the intention of permanently setting in India.

2) Qualifications :

a) A degree of any recognized university.
b) A candidate who has given graduation last year examination and awaiting for the results.

3) Age limit :

a) A candidate must have attained 21 years and not be over 30 years on August 1 of the year of examinations.

Relaxation to the above age criteria :

- 3 years for OBC
- 5 years for SC/ST
- 5 years for Jammu & Kashmir candidates who had domiciled during the period of 1 january 1980 to 31 december 1989.
- Upto a 10 years Maximum for DEaf-mute, Blind, orthopaedically handicapped candidates.

Yes you are eligible regarding academic wise but check your age limit and Citizenship...
Age limit:
OC-> 21-30
MBC-> 21-33
SC/ST or ex-army-> 21-35
You must be an Indian citizen if you are applying for the post of IAS or IPS....

The following are the eligible criteria for writing civil service exam conducted by UPSC

yes dear you will be eligible for giving the upsc exam even after doing your graduation from private. All you need is that your university should be a recognized indian university. And your age should be in between 21-30 years. Moreover it is not seen in the eligibility that from where did you got your masters degree. All you need is a graduation degree.

So you are eligible for the exam.
Percentage of the marks and higher qualification is no matter for the exam.it is beneficial for you.
Age limit for the exam is the 21 to 30 years.
Age relaxation as per govt. rules
Three years for the obc category
Five years for the sc/st category.

for this candidate should graduate .
no percentage required for this exam .
only indian can appear for this exam .
age for general 21 to 30 year and 4 time attempt this exam .
age for obc 21 to 33 year and 7 time attempt this exam .
age for sc/st 21 to 35 year and no limit to attempt this exam .

It does not matter whether your University is deemed or not.If the University is UGC recognised and your course in your college(only for professional and technical courses) is AICTE approved,then you are eligible for any exam of Indian govt,State govt or any other private firms.
The basic eligiblity for Civil Services is Graduations from any stream from a recognised University.If yours is so,then there is nothing to bother even if its deemed or whatever.

The basic qualification for the examination of the UPSC's CSAT is to pass the Bachelor's degree in any discipline at any recognized university. If your deemed university is a recognized university from UGC, then you can appear the UPSC examinations. Otherwise, you are not eligible for the examination. YES YOU CAN APPLY FOR UPSC EXAMS,AFTER STUDYING FROM A DEEMED UNIVERSITY.

A deemed university is never a point,a university is a university whether it is deemed or not.The only debate or question related to university that can be raised is whether the university has the UGC(University Grants Commission) approval.If the university have the UGC approval,then there is no point of doubt,a deemed university is also a university,so do not worry and just apply for the exam.
