Exam Eligibility;-
1-You must be passed a graduate degree from a Indian recognized university
2-There is no percentage requirement
3-Appearing in final year candidates are also eligible.
Age limits;-
General age limits is 21-30 years. Age relaxation is given reserved category students.
Age relaxation;---
3 years age relaxation for OBC category
5 years age relaxation for SC/ST category
10 years for PH candidates
Number Of Attempts;-
4 times for General category Candidates
7 times for OBC candidates
No limit for SC/ST category
Exam pattern;-
Civil services Preliminary exam consist two papers of General studies having 400 marks.
2 hours are given to each General studies papers.
Civil services Mains exam pattern changed from this year.
Now Any Indian Language papers consist 100 marks as qualifying marks.
English language papers consist 100 marks.
Essay papers marks is same as previous.
Now general studies papers consist 500 marks.
There will be last stage of Interview which consist 275 marks instead of 300 marks.

A deemed university is never a point,a university is a university whether it is deemed or not.The only debate or question related to university that can be raised is whether the university has the UGC(University Grants Commission) approval.If the university have the UGC approval,then there is no point of doubt,a deemed university is also a university,so do not worry and just apply for the exam.

It does not matter whether your University is deemed or not.If the University is UGC recognised and your course in your college(only for professional and technical courses) is AICTE approved,then you are eligible for any exam of Indian govt,State govt or any other private firms.
The basic eligiblity for Civil Services is Graduations from any stream from a recognised University.If yours is so,then there is nothing to bother even if its deemed or whatever.

And your age should be in between 21-30 years. Moreover it is not seen in the eligibility that from where did you got your masters degree. All you need is a graduation degree.
