    Dear Friend,

B.Sc is a graduation degree course and after graduation every candidates are eligible for IAS exam.

It does not matter that in which field you are passing your graduation only you should be graduate.

Your age must be under 21-30 years.

You should be citizen of India.

General candidates has 4 attempts to apply where as BC candidates has 7 attempts to apply and SC/ST candidates has no limit to apply for same.

    Good Luck....

    Hi,
dear friend you can definitely go for IAS after your B.Sc(Hons).Believe me you are not going to face any problem regarding eligibility criteria.
If you are thinking of problems during preparation ,then rest assured because everyone has to prepare for same subjects and whichever stream you have opted for graduation. So its not going to be a problem or any disadvantage to your chances in your pursuit for IAS preparation.

There are some eligibility criteria for appearing in this examination:-

1.You should be a citizen of India.

2.You should have completed your graduation from any stream but from a recognized university.

3.Candidates in their final year of graduation can also apply for the same.

4.The age limit is 21-30 years for General candidates(4 attempts) with a relaxation in age of 3,5 and 5 years for OBC(7 attempts),SC(unlimited attempts) and ST(unlimited attempts) candidates respectively.
