the minimum requirement for upsc exam is graduation in any stream for a recognized institute under ugc within the age 21-30 year for general category aspirant.

sorry diploma holders can not apply for upsc exam. you have to be a graduate for being eligible for upsc exams

and there is no any exam for diploma holders which is conducting by upsc examination.


so you are not eligible ant not a right person for upsc .

let me clear you that there is no any examination for diploma holders in upsc .

You must have a graduate to appear in the upsc examination.

dear you want to apply for upsc exams then you must have completed graduation from a recognized university or institute or you should have bachelor degree then only you can apply for upsc and sorry as you have completed diploma but you can not apply for upsc exam....

dear friend,

now you can apply for NDA only.
for which your age must be within 16.5 years to 19 years.

but i advise you go for graduation then apply for UPSC for different posts like civil services,IES,CDS etc.


eligibility criteria :

you must complete or appearing in final year of graduation from recognized college or university.
your age must be within 21 years to 30 years.
And there is some relaxation in UPPER AGE limit for reserved category candidates.

Dear,The minimum qualification for the UPSC exam is Graduation in any stream. In that case you have to do Graduation first, If you are in your last semester examination of the university then you can also apply for the exam.For IAS and IPS you have to take Graduation in any field.For IES you have any Engineering degree of 4 years.If you are diploma then you can fill the form of IES after doing Engineering. The exam name is IES i.e. Engineering ServicesExamination.All the best

no, as the diploma is counted in as industrial course which make you eligible to work as a technician either in some govt. dept or in any MNC. since it is not counted in GRADUATION course by govt. of INDIA ,so it makes you INELIGIBLE for the UPSC civil service examination & other examination conducted by upsc whose qualification are laid by upsc as follow

you can appear for the examinations

1.civil services examination (for IAS,IPS)

whose eligibility criteria are :
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA ::
You must be a citizen ofIndia,

or, You must be a subject of Nepal or Bhutan,
or,You must be a Tibetan refugee settled permanently in India before 1962.


You must be of 21 to 30 years of age. HOWEVER,there is a relaxation in the upper age limit,
of 3 years for the OBCs
and
5 years for the SC/STs.


You must have completed your Graduation orEquivalent,from a recognized university under any
stream,or be a final year student in the same

The number of attempts is 4 for a General category student,
7 for an OBC candidate,and
unlimited for a SC/ST candidate,until he fulfills the age criteria

2. central police force (CPF) held once every year

whose eligibilty criteria are

1.university graduate of any stream either in final year/passed out with 55% in graduation

2. age limit within 20-25 years relaxation in the upper age limit,
of 3 years for the OBCs
and
5 years for the SC/STs.

3.CDSE (for recruitments in three armed forces of indian union)

exam conducted bi-annually

in which age should be within 18-25 yrs.
& one must be university graduate from recognised university

there is no age relaxation for any cateogory

-Sorry,bury you are not eligible to appear for the UPSC Civil Service Exams which are conducted annually.You do not fulfil the educational requirements of these exams.
-You must proceed to complete your Graduation,or equivalent before appearing these exams,as a Diploma is not valid.
-The complete eligibility requirements to appear the Civil Service exams are mentioned below-
:: ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA ::
-You must be a citizen of India,
or,You must be a subject of Nepal or Bhutan,

-You must be 21 to 30 years of age.
However,the upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST and by 3 years for the OBC candidates.
-YOU MUST HAVE COMPLETED YOUR GRADUATION,OR A DEGREE EQUIVALENT TO GRADUATION,FROM A RECOGNIZED UNIVERSITY,WITH ANY SUBJECT.
Final year students are also applicable.
Just the passing percentage is required.
-Number of attempts allowed :
For GENERAL category : 04
For OBC candidates : 07
For SC/ST candidates : Unlimited.

U r not eligible for the upsc IAS exam . because this exam demand the degree holder student.

so firstly u complete the degree then apply for the exam.

besides if upsc conduct other exam for the diploma holder . that i m not know.

Hey friend,

Being a diploma student which has the value of +2 the entrance exam which you can write which is conducted by UPSC is NDA Exam

NDA - National Defence Academy

This exam is conducted for candidate to join in defence forces of India such as;

>> Indian Army
>> Indian Navy
>> Indian Air Force

You can write this exam every year and is held twice as NDA I and NDA II

For applying for this exam you need to satisfy the eligibility criteria framed for the exam and they are:

• Candidate must be a citizen of India

• Only unmarried male candidate are eligible

• The age limit for the exam is that the candidate must have 16 1/2-19 years

• Education qualification needed for the NDA exam is that the candidate must have completed +2 with fair percentage in order to be eligible for joining in Indian Army

• In the case of joining in Indian Navy or Air Force you need to have completed +2 with physics and mathematics as subjects

• The candidate need to be physically fit while appearing for the NDA Exam

If you satisfy all these above criteira's then you can apply for the NDA Exam.

To appear the UPSC conducted examination, one must have completed his bachelor degree at any recognized university. So I am sorry to say that the Diploma qualification is not eligible for the UPSC examination. Thank You.
