    IES exam is conducted only in 4 streams - mechanical, civil, electrical and electronics ANd telecommunications
    YOu can apply as biomedical engineer, but you have to write in one of these four subjects only

    Dear Friend

    Yes,you are eligible for the IES exams (Indian Engineering services) being a biomedical engineer but for examination you have to select the papers of the following branches of engineering:

    1.Civil engineering

    2.Mechanical engineering

    3.Electrical engineering

    4.Electronics engineering.


    Paper pattern:







    AGE LIMITATIONS:

    >>General: 21-30 years

    >>OBC: 21-33 years.

    >>SC/ST: 21-35 years.



    No of attempts:

    General:4

    obc:7

    SC/ST: no limit.
