    Dear Friend

Yes,you are eligible for the IES exams (Indian Engineering services) being a biomedical engineer but for examination you have to select the papers of the following branches of engineering:

    1.Civil engineering

    2.Mechanical engineering

    3.Electrical engineering

    4.Electronics engineering.

    Paper pattern:

    AGE LIMITATIONS:

    >>General: 21-30 years

    >>OBC: 21-33 years.

    >>SC/ST: 21-35 years.

    No of attempts:

    General:4

    obc:7

    SC/ST: no limit.

    Hope the information helps you.

    all the best

IES exam is conducted only in 4 streams - mechanical, civil, electrical and electronics ANd telecommunications
YOu can apply as biomedical engineer, but you have to write in one of these four subjects only
