Yes,you are eligible for the UPSC examinations as you have completed your bachelor's degree in information and technology which is the minimum requirement for the UPSC examinations.

the exams for which you will be eligible:

>>Civil services examinations

>>Indian engineeirng services.

>>Combined defence services

>>Central police force examinations.

>>Indian forest services.


The other eligibility criteria is that your age should be between 21-30 years if you belong to a general category.


You can apply at the official website www.upsconline.nic.in.


These examinations are very tough and you need to work hard for these examinations.Some of the good institutes for preparation:

>>Chanakya's IAS academy.

>>vajiram and ravi ias academy.

yes of course b.tech(IT) graduate can apply for the upsc examinations.

being a b.tech(IT) graduate you can apply for the various graduation based upsc examination such as
Indian Forest Services Examination (IFS)
Indian Police Services Examination(IPS)
Indian Administrative Services Examination (IAS)
Central Police Forces Examination (CPF)
Civil Services Examination
Combined Defense Services Examination (CDS)

for all these examinations you will get an
age relaxation if you belong to the OBC or the SC/ST category.

the preparation of these examination needs a well drilled preparation of at least a year.

you are the right person for upsc because you are a graduate .

and a graduate student are eligible for almost all the examination at graduation level for upsc examination.

you can give the following exams.



1. civil services examination.

2. indian forest services.

3. central police services.

4. combined defence services.

1. for all the examinations mentioned above the required educational qualification is graduation with a govt. recognized university.

2. you must be indian.

3. for cds and police services you must be unmarried .

CIVIL SERVICE EXAM
INDIAN FOREST SERVICE EXAM
CENTRAL POLICE FORCE SERVICE EXAM

UPSC stands for union public service commission. This examination is conducted by central government of india.

Eligibility criteria for upsc:-
>>The applicant age should between 21 to 30yrs for general candidates,21-33 yrs for obc candidates,21-35yrs for sc/st candidates.
>>The applicant should be a citizen of india

>>The applicant should be medically fit.
>>The final year applicant also eligible for this examination.

Dear, U.P.S.C. stands for Union Public Service Commission.
U.P.S.C. is not an examination.
It is a central government authorized agency which conducts various examinations to recruit candidates to government sectors.
You can apply for various examinations which are conducted by U.P.S.C.

1)Combined Defense Service Exam
2)Civil Service Exam
3)Indian Engineering Service Exam
4)Indian Forest Service Exam
5)Indian Police Service Exam

to apply for these exams you need to satisfy the eligibility criteria for that exam.

FOR CIVIL SERVICE/I.P.S./I.F.S.:-

you must be an Indian citizen.
You must be graduate degree holder with recognized university.
Final year students can also apply.
Your age limit 21 - 30 years.
For O.B.C. 3 years & for SC/ST 5 years of upper age relaxation is available.
Only passing mark is enough.
You must be physically fit.
Number of attempts for general category is 4, O.B.C. is 7 & unlimited for SC/ST candidates.

FOR I.E.S:-

-you must be Indian.
-you must be an engineering graduate.
-a degree holder with the below streams can apply.

*civil engineering
*mechanical engineering
*electrical engineering
*electronics & telecommunication engineering

age limit 21-30.
Candidate has not any backlogs.

As you are from IT,you can not apply I.E.S. With IT papers/your own stream.
You need to take any 1 stream from above listed stream to appear in I.E.S. exam.
Question will be asked to you from your chosen stream.

hey friend UPSC conducts many exam and you being an engineering student can apply for lot many exams like the combined defense services examination and civil services examination to be eligible you should have completed your graduation or should be in final year of graduation and as far as age matters that is 21-30 for general and 21-33 for obc and 21-35 for sc/st but for the combined defense services exam it is little less you can check more details at upsc.gov.in

Yes you are eligible for all UPSC exams except IES.

Basic eligibility required for UPSC exams:
-The candidate must be the citizen of India.
-The candidate should be minimum 21 years of age and the maximum age is 29 years.
-The candidate should have a degree completed from any of the institutes established by an Act of Parliament or any University deemed by the University Grant Commission under section 3, Act, 1956.
-Every eligible candidate is allowed to attempt the Civil Services Examination four times.

mechanical engg
electrical engg
electronics and telecommunication engg
u can even apply for NDA, SSB, CDS etc
