Re: Which subjects should I opt for Indian Forest Services Examination being a B.Sc graduate? List of optional subjects for IFS exam: i) Agriculture ii)Agricultural Engineering iii)Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science iv)Botany v)Chemistry vi) Chemical Engineering vii) Civil Engineering viii) Forestry ix)Geology x)Mathematics xi)Mechanical Engineering xii) Physics xiii) Statistics xiv) Zoology candidates have to choose an option among the list of available optionals as mentioned above. It will be wise to take one option related to your graduation. THe question paper and syllabus for arts subjects is similar to that of Honors degree level. So if you choose your graduation subject then you can easily cover the syllabus. My opinion is to choose another arts subject itself. We can give you only suggestions. But its you who is going to study. So think carefully and take a good decision. ALL THE BEST For second option, choose a subject which you are interested in. you cannot choose Engineering subjects because the syllabus is lengthy and it will be purely technical, without prior expertise you cannot study engineering subject.
