Dear Friend,

UPSC means Union Public Service Commission.
It is the independent body of the Government which recruits the best of the best candidate from the country to work with Higher Departments of Government.
It does not come under any Government Pressure. It is a independent entity working for the betterment of this Government and Country.
It is designed like this by our beloved Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel.

There are various examinations UPSC conducts to fill the vacancies in the Government Departments like:
Civil Services Examination - which is best known as IAS/IPS examination.
Indian Forest Services Examination
Combined Defense Services Examination
Special Class Apprentice Examination.
National Defense Academy Examination.
Etc Etc.

Unfortunately my friend you require minimum education qualification of Graduation from any stream or equivalent from a recognised University.
But if you want to apply for government departmental exam after your HSC qualification, than you can apply for Staff Selection Commission.

Yes,it is good for the HSC students as you can give the NDA and SCRA examinations on 10+2 basis and rest of the exams have minimum educational qualification as graduation.

UPSC is a commission consisting of a chairman and 7 other members. Its history dates back to 1930s when central civil service commission was setup by the British. After independence, it was named as UPSC (union public service commission) to recruit candidates for extremely important and prestigeous posts which form backbone of Indian administration. THey also recruit people for Indian foreign services, a highly revered post, where Indian diplomats serve in foreign countries as ambassadors of India & other united nations organization. UPSC conducts a lot of examination
1) civil service exam
2) Geologists exam
3) Indian Economic service/statistical service exam
etc.
Higher secondary students can apply only to Special class railway apprentice exam and National defense academy exam conducted by UPSC. Other exams require a bachelor's degree to apply.

I really appreciate you for your interest on upsc exams!! First of all I have to tell you that only graduate student can appear in UPSC examination. You have passed your certificate through any board it is not so important.
UPSC conducts examination of all over India for the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Police Service (IPS), Indian Forest Service and other good reputed job posts.

hi xams conducted under upsc are ias,ies, civil services xam, cds, scra, combined medical service, ifs, geologist xam, nda/na, indian economic service, central police officers and section officer/stenographer.

dear friend upsc stands for union public service commission which conducts many exams like civil services exam, combined defense services exam and all the exam to provide A grade government job but to apply for upsc exams you must have completed your graduation or either should be in final year of graduation. just check the address upsc.gov.in and you will get each and every detail

First of all I have to tell you that only graduate student can appear in UPSC examination. You have passed your certificate through any board it is not so important.
