    dear
yes it is necessary to have a graduation or a bachelor degree to apply for UPSC exams except for NDA and SCRA where minium qualification is science stream and intermediate pass.
also along with it you need to have attained 21 years of age and must not have crossed 30 years of age on 1st august of the year of exam
however there is relaxation on upper age limit for OBC and SC/ST/PD category respectively

    all the best

    Hello Guest,

You are not required to submit along with their applications any certificate(s) in support of their claims regarding Age, Educational Qualifications etc.
And not only this,if you are a candidate appearing in the Degree qualification, then you are also eligible for appearing in the examination, however, you are supposed to submit proof of passing the requisite qualification along with with Detailed Application Form for Civil Services (Main) Examination.

No submission of certificates is required with the application.

The certificates will be required only after the results of the written examination.
