criteria for ips exam :~ age limit 21 to 30, eduactional qualification ~ a graduation degree from an ugc recognised university.
for becoming an ips officer maximum rank must be 200 in cse.

IPS EXAM STANDS FOR INDIAN POLICE SERVICE EXAM WHICH IS CONDUCTED BY UPSC ONCE IN A YEAR.
you can this exam after graduation.
final year student are also eligible for this exam

Required criterion:

Age limit:21-30 years for general
Bachelor degree is the minimum educational qualification
Number of attempts for general:4

Coaching Institutes:

1) VajiRam& Ravi Ias academy
2) ALS institute
3) Chanakya IAS academy
4) RAus study circle
5) Insight IAS academy

after clearing all rounds, a merit list is published based on which posts are decided.
for IPS posts there is physical standards test for checking height, weight requirements and eyesight criteria

dear friend Indian police services can be joined by clearing the Civil services exam conducted by upsc every year you have to clear the three stage testing that is pre written exam then the mains exam and then the interview notification is made by upsc every year can check the etails at upsc.gov.in and for the coaching institute you can check at cavalier.in all the very best
