Its very inappropriate if you resign and then prepare for UPSC ..

Its better you go on parallely and do your job as well as prepare for your exams , and when you clear the exam then you can go for resigning and go hapily in th next job .

Hi Aspirant,

It really appreciable, that you want to serve the country and ready to leave your current job.

But friend you should not resign from your current jobs because it may be risky.

UPSC civil Service exam is very tough and it is the toughest exam of India.

You should keep continue your current jobs and along with this job you can start preparation for Civil Service exam.

You should schedule your time table according to your convenience.

For the preparation of UPSC exam you have need of specific concentration and hard labor.


Required Qualification for CSAT (Civil Service Aptitude Test)

You must be graduated in any stream from recognized university or its equivalent.

Age must be between 21 to 30 years

Age relaxation

SC/ST + 5 years

OBC + 3 years

PH + 10 years

You must be Indian.


Exam pattern

Prelims (400 marks)

Mains (2000 marks)


Interview (300 marks)
