I am a corporate. I want to serve my country in the field of administration. Is this a risky decision to resign my current job and start preparing for UPSC exams?

Its very inappropriate if you resign and then prepare for UPSC ..

Its better you go on parallely and do your job as well as prepare for your exams , and when you clear the exam then you can go for resigning and go hapily in th next job .

Have a great luck man ..!!!
