    Yes definitely you can apply for IFS Exam after B.Tech(CSE).
    IFS Examination is conducted by UPSC for the recruitment of candidates in the Forestry Department of India.
    IFS stands for Indian Forest Services.
    The basic eligibility criteria for IFS Exam are as follows:

    The candidate must graduate from any recognized university with at least one of the fourteen subjects given below:
    Agriculture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry & Veterinary science,
    Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Statistics, Geology, Botany, Zoology,
    Agricultural engineering, Chemical engineering, Civil engineering, Mechanical engineering.

    Final year degree students are also eligible

    The Age limit Criteria
    General 21-30 yrs
    SC/ST 21-35 yrs
    OBC 21-33 yrs

    Criteria for Number of attempts permitted
    General 4
    OBC 7
    PH 7
    SC/ST No Limit

    Nationality should be Indian.

    IFS exam stands for Indian forest services.

    you can apply this exam after graduation in following stream;-

    ----Animal husbandry and veterinary science

    -----zoology


    ----botany

    ----stat

    ---math

    ----biology

    ---graduation in agricultural

    ---b.tech in agri. engineering.

    general age limit is 21-30 years.

    you must be Indian citizen.

    IFS stands for INDIAN FOREST SERVICES.

    This exam is conducted by UPSC once in a year.

    ELIGIBILITY FOR THE IFS EXAM:-

    You must have a bachelor degree in any of the following streams;

    Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science,Physics,Chemistry,Mathematics,Geology,Zool ogy,B.Tech in Agriculture,Forestry etc.

    You have done your graduation in the Computer so I am really sorry to tell you that you can not apply for the IFS exam.

    1.Engineering from a recognised University/Equivalent.
    2.A Bachelors Degree in Agriculture or Forestry/Equivalent.
    3.A Bachelors degree with atleast one of the subjects namely Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science,
    Botany,Chemistry,Geology,Maths,Physics,Statistics & Zoology from a recognised University/Equivalent.

    General Category-21-30yrs on 1st July of the year of exam

    Eligibility for UPSC Indian Forest Service Examination

    Candidate should have a bachelor's degree in any one of the following disciplines from a recognized university

    Agriculture
    Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Science
    Botany
    Chemistry
    Engineering any discipline
    Forestry
    Geology
    Mathematics
    Statistics
    Zoology

    Age should not be less than 21 years and more than 30 years and relaxation in upper age as per government guidelines which is 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC category candidates

    This year UPSC forest service examination notification has been published by the UPSC board and you can apply for this examination within these following dates and this year UPSC board changed the complete examination pattern for this exam which is also mentioned following

    Start date for online application - 05-03-2013

    Last date for online application - 04-04-2013

    Examination Pattern for UPSC Indian Forest Service Examination

    Preliminary Examination - There would be two papers conducted for 200 marks in objective type pattern and qualifying in both papers is compulsory to be eligible for mains examination

    Mains Examination - There would be following papers conducted in mains examination in conventional type pattern and qualifying in each is compulsory

    General English - 300 marks
    General Knowledge - 300 marks
    Paper III and IV - Any one selected optional subject - 200 marks each
    Paper V and VI - Any one selected optional subject - 200 marks each

    List of optional subjects from which you may choose any two

    Agriculture
    Agriculture Engineering
    Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Science
    Botany
    Chemistry
    Civil Engineering
    Chemical Engineering
    Forestry
    Geology
    Mathematics
    Mechanical Engineering
    Physics
    Statistics
    Zoology

    But there are some restrictions to select the optional subjects means you may not choose both same stream means you may not choose following combinations of subjects for optional subjects

    Agriculture and Agriculture Engineering
    Agriculture And Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Science
    Agriculture and Forestry
    Chemistry and Chemical Engineering
    Mathematics and Statistics

    The educational qualification required for applying in the IFS(Indian Forest Services) exam is

    a bachelor degree with at least of the subjects studied veterinary science&animal husbandry,physics,chemistry,mathematics,geology,st atics,zoology or a bachelor degree in forestry or agriculture or engineering.

    As you have done your engineering,you are applicable for the IFS exam.

    IFS or Indian Forest service exam conducted by UPSC.
    Educational Qualification:
    1.Bachelor degree in Agriculture,Forestry,Veterinary science,Animal Husbandry,Geology,Zoology,botany,Physics,chemistry ,statistics & Engineering degree in Civil,Mechanical,chemical,Agricultural or equivalent from any recognized University.
    Final year students of the degree course is also apply for IFS exam.
    So,if you are eligible then apply for the exam.

    Indian Forest Service(IFS) exam is conducted by UPSC every year.
    Yes you can appear in the IFS exam after B.tech(CSE) and meeting all the eligibility criteria.

    Eligibility for IFS :

    Educational Qualificaton :
    1.Engineering from a recognised University/Equivalent.
    2.A Bachelors Degree in Agriculture or Forestry/Equivalent.
    3.A Bachelors degree with atleast one of the subjects namely Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science,
    Botany,Chemistry,Geology,Maths,Physics,Statistics & Zoology from a recognised University/Equivalent.

    Age Limit :
    General Category-21-30yrs on 1st July of the year of exam
    OBC-21-33yrs
    SC/ST-21-35yrs

    The IFS exam consists of Written Exam-Conventional(essay) type of total marks 1400 Marks and Interviews for personality test of total 300 Marks.

    yes off course after complete your b.tech you can apply for indian forest services.


    Ifs eligibility:-

    you should have to complete your graduation in any stream.

    Age should be for general 21 to 30 years.

    Age should be for ob c 3 years relaxation.

    Age should be for sc /st 5 years relaxation.

    • IFS refers to Indian forest services which is conducted by the upsc.
    • You must have the bachelor degree in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Geology, Statistics, Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry, or in Engineering or Forestry or Agriculture; or MBBS
    • Your age must be between 21 years to 30 years.
    • Age relaxations is provided as per notification from the government.
    • After written examination, you will be called for the interview, after that the training session will be started.

    There are minimum educational Qualification :

    Bachelor's degree with at least one of the following subject : Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology
    OR
    A Bachelor Degree in Agriculture
    OR
    Forest or Engineering of a recognized university.


    Age should be 21-30 years


    So dear friend if you have one of these subject, then you can apply for this post. Otherwise you can not apply.

    Indian Forest Services Exam is conducted annually by UPSC.

    The Eligibility Conditions for this Exam are-

    Minimum academic qualification required: A Bachelor's degree with at least one of the subjects namely, Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology or a degree in Agriculture or Forestry or Engineering of a recognized University or equivalent.

    Age limit: 21-30 years (relaxation in upper age limit for candidates belonging to different categories)
    OBC 21-33 years
    SC/ST 21-35 years
    PH 21-40 years.
    Also note that there is no boundation on number of attempts for IFS Exam.

    Now coming to your query as the official notification only asks a degree in engineering (not mentioning any particular stream or branch) so you are eligible for the Exam.
    But you should also confirm this from the UPSC Office, whose contact details you may find at http://www.upsc.gov.in

    yes sure after complete your B.TECH you can apply for IFS EXAM.

    this exam is conducted by UPSC(union public service commission) once in a year.


    QUALIFICATION FOR IFS:-

    you should have to complete your graduation in any stream from the recognized university.


    AGE CRITERIA:-

    age should be for general candidates 21 to 30 years.

    age should be for obc candidates 21 to 33 years.

    age should be for sc/st candidates 21 to 35 years.

    you must be an INDIAN.


    NO OF ATTEMPTS:-

    general = 4

    obc = 7

    sc/st = no limits

    ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR IFS=

    1)AGE=21-30 YEARS

    *SC/ST=RELAXATION UPTO 5 YEARS.

    *BC=UPTO 3 YEARS

    *BLIND DEAF-MUTE/PHC=UPTO 10 YEARS.
