if u are a chemistry student u can apply for civil services examination for Indian forest services. and also SCRA( special class railway apprentice)
the subjects u need to become study for IFS are:
agriculture
anthropology
zoology
botany
physics
mathematics
chemical engg
mechanical engg
forestry
animal husbandry etc

u can apply for IAS, IPS exam. also for IFS (INDIAN FOREST SERVICE).
u can also apply for SSC (STAFF SELECTION COMMISSION) COMBINED GRADUATE LEVEL EXAM.
refer NCERT books, UPSC PORTAL GENERAL STUDIES, MANORAMA YEAR BOOK, R.S.AGARWAL, MADE EASY, etc., are some best books.

You can apply for IFS-INDIAN FOREST SERVICE AND IAS-INDIAN ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES WITH CHEMISTRY AS A SUBJECT. NCERT books will help you a lot.you can also go various competitive magaines which are published monthly.

They can apply for Common Defense Exam conducted by UPSC. Another exam conducted by UPSC for graduates is Indian Administrative Services (IAS). They can also apply for the Combined Graduate Level Exam conducted by Staff Selection Commission (SSC). They can also apply for the Assistant Central Intelligence Officer exam conducted by Ministry of Home Affairs.

Hello,
If you want to get job form UPSC in the field of Chemistry then You can go the Job for Food Inspector, IFS exams i.e. Indian Forest Exams and IAS/IPS exams also.

You can take Chemistry as a Subject in IAS Mains Exams.

You should go for the NCERT for the basic knowledge of Chemistry because it covers whole UPSC syllabus.

Ok.See as you are a graduate the IAS is always open for you.Besides Indian Forest Service might also have pretty good chances for you to apply.Visit upsc.gov.in and you will get details about any other examination as well.
Competitive Refresher is a good magazine.There is also Manorama Year Book for current affairs.Books by Upakar,G.k.Publications and Made Easy are also very good.
