Sorry if you try next year when you will be in the final year of the examination then you will be able to apply for the civil services examination so you should not worry right now because right now you cannot apply for the same , if you like to apply this examination then you need to fulfill the eligibility criteria for the same so you should see that as i am going to mention the same here only. here is the required eligibility criteria which is mandatory to fulfill. Eligibility criteria for the Civil services examination- Age should be 21 to 30 years of age. Graduation in any discipline from a recognised university can apply for the same. Age relaxation for the civil services examination is as follows- SC/ST 5 years. OBC 3 years. Ex servicemen 5 years. Disabled defence officer in army during war for commissioned officer 3 years of age relaxation. Examination pattern- CSAT stands foir the civil services aptitude test which is the first stage of the examination. It consist of 2 papers and both general studies of 400 marks total. MAINS examination is if you qualify the examination CSAT then called for the Mains examination. There will be 9 papers of 2000 marks . By qualifying the same candidates are called for the interview. Right now you are not eligible as the graduation degree is needed for minimum. Start preparing for the test and by the time you graduate take the exam well. The reason for this is that for giving the upsc exam, you need to be a graduate from a recognized indian university and your age should be in between 21-30 years. People who are in the final year of their graduation may also apply but those who are in their pre final year are not eligible for giving the exam.

After graduation candidate can apply for civil services exam and CDS exam. Engineering graduate are also eligible for IES exam. So, wait for one more year in the last year of graduation you will be eligible. Tech student of 3rd year you are not eligible to apply for UPSC exam. If you are in final year then you can apply for UPSC exam. You don�t satisfy the eligibility criteria of UPSC exam. Eligibility for CSE You should be graduate in any stream from recognized university or its equivalent Final year candidates can apply Age should be 21 to 30 years Age relaxation is provided as per government norms You must be Indian. In my suggestion now you should complete your B. Tech degree with good marks. You can appear in UPSC exam in final year. But it is not so easy and you can do good preparation for CSE exam. It is very tough exam. You can start the preparation of UPSC CSE from now. You can also apply for Indian Engineering Service exam. Best of Luck�

Hello, To appear in UPSC exam you should be the candidate of final year of Bachelor degree program. You should appear in IES exam conducted by UPSC.
