Age Limit

General 21 to 30 year

CSAT stands for Civil Service Aptitude Test.

UPSC conducts the CSAT exam every year at national Level.

CSAT exam is the toughest exam of India and second toughest exam in the world after French Civil Service Exam.


Exam procedure

Preliminary exam ( 400 marks)

General studies ( 200 marks)

General English ( 200 marks)


Mains exam ( 2000 marks)





Interview (300 marks)

After qualifying written exam you will be called for Interview



Generally UPSC publish the notification for CSAT exam in the month of February every year.

Prelims exam will be held on third week of May.

Mains exam will be held in the month of September.

dear upto when you are eligible for the exam then you can apply as many times you are eligible for it .....when you will become not eligible for a exam then only you can not apply till then you can apply as many times as you want....or as many times as the exams are conducted.

the whole procedure will be given there.
the application is to be submitted directly to the commission.
u need not attach any other document while filling the form
the quota papers will be asked only before main paper.

U.P.S.C. stands for UNION PUBLIC SERVICES COMMISSION.
It is a central agency authorized by govt. to conduct various examinations to recruit candidates.

The exams conducted by U.P.S.C. are:-

As you are a graduate you can apply for civil service exam.
