You are eligible for IAS but not IES bcoz only EC, EE ,Mech,Civil students are only eligible for IES. IAS is an exam conducted through Civil Services exam. Required Qualification to appear for Civil Services Exam -You should have passed Graduation degree in any specialization from recognized Institute. -You are for civil service exam while in graduation final year. -UPSC Civil service exam has no restriction on graduation percentage. -Your Age should be within the limit of 21 to 23 years. -You must be a citizen of India. for more details view attachment

Eligibility Criteria for both these exams? yes, ofcourse, as you are in last year of your graduation you are eligible for both exam.Eligibility 1 student must be indian 2.Number of AttemptsFour attempts for open, seven for OBCs and no limit for SCs/STs. If a person appears in the Preliminary Examination or even one paper is counted as an attempt.3 student must've completed his graduation , final year students are also eligible 4 age limit 21 to 30 years for general students maximum 33 years for OBC and 35 for SC ST students 5. no.of attempts for these exams are :General - 4OBC - 7SC/STs - No LimitFor more details please visithttp://upsc.gov.in

ELIGIBILITY FOR I.F.S.:- I.F.S. stands for Indian Forest Service. --Candidate must have a Bachelor�s degree of a recognised University with at least one of the subjects namely Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology or a Bachelor�s degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Engineering or an equivalent qualification. --Age should between 21 to 30 years. --Candidate must be physically & medically fit. --For general candidates minimum height should be 165 cm for male and 150 cm for female candidates --For male Chest it is fully expanded 84 cm and for female 79 cm. Eligibility criteria for I.E.S. exam:- I.E.S. means Indian Engineering Service. -- The candidates who have completed their graduation from engineering can apply for the exam. -- This exam is conducted to recruit candidates in streams like * Civil Engineering * Electrical Engineering * Mechanical Engineering * Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering. As you are from I.T. stream you have to choose any one stream from the four above streams to apply in I.E.S. exam. -- Final year candidates are also eligible to apply. -- Candidate must not have any pending backlogs. -- Candidate must be Indian citizen. -- Candidates of Nepal , Bhutan or Tibetan who have come to India prior to January 1st 1962 & staying in India permanently can also apply. -- The age of the candidate should not be less than 21 years & not more than 30 years. -- Upper age relaxation is given to lower caste candidates. -- For SC/ST age limit:- 21-35 years, For O.B.C.:- 21-33 years

Eligibility Criteria for both these exams? dear friend you can not sit in both these exams as they ask for the required stream engineering but do not worry you can sot ion the IAS exam conducted by UPSC you can check the details at upsc.gov.in

B.Tech IT are not eligible for IES. for IES candidate with B.E/B.Tech in CIVIL/MECH/ELECTRICAL/ELECTRONICS & TELECOMMUNICATIONS are only eligible to apply. u can apply for IFS. for IFS candidate with degree at least one main subjects as botany/zoology/chemistry/physics/geology/sociology/maths/statistics/animal husbandry & veterinary science or degree in agriculture/forestry or Engineering.

I am afraid the two exam which you mentioned do not have much chances for you to appear.Firstly IES recruits only for Electrical,Electronics & Telecommunication,Mechanical and Civil streams and secondly IFS basically recruits from general science fields especially those with Biology,Environmental Biology,Chemistry backgrounds.You can sit for IAS though after you have completed your graduation.Please visit http://upsc.gov.in for more details.Good Luck!
