Well you didn't specify your caste,if you belong to general caste or OBC you can't write UPSC exam else you have chansce.UPSC stands for Union Public Service Comission.They conduct various civil service exams like IAS ,IPS ,IES ,IFS etc.You can write these exam if you belong to SC (Schedule Caste) or ST (Schedule Tribe) because they have five years age relaxation ie they can write upto 35 years.There are three level in these exams1. Preliminary2. Mains and3. Interview

Dear friend for apply UPSC Civil Services Exam age limit is 21 years to 30 years for General category candidates.

And OBC category candidates age limit is 21 years to 33 years.

Friend if you belong to General category and OBC category then you are not eligible to apply UPSC Civil Services Exam.

If you belong to SC/ST category then you apply for UPSC CIvil Services Exam because

the age limit for SC/ST category candidates are 21 years to 35 years.

So, if you belong to SC/ST category then you are eligible to apply UPSC Civil Services Exam at the age of 34 years.

There are some categories for that age relaxation. It depends on which community you belong to, if you are OC then your age limit will be 21 to 30 and it will vary for BC and MBC its from 21 to 33 and for SC/ST it is from 21 to 35....If you are a citizen of Jammu and kashmir and if you are a X- service men then there is a age relaxtion upto 35 years. On the date of applying for exam you should be less than 35 years old if you come under any of the above mentioned categories.

if you belong to SC/ST category then you can apply for UPSC exam
but if you belong to GEN or OBC category then you can't apply to it.

eligibility criteria is:

1. have graduate degree from recognized university.

2. citizen of INDIA.

Hey

You can apply for the UPSC exams if you belongs to the SC/ST category.
Because for the SC/ST category the upper age limit is 35 years in UPSC exams.
If you do not belongs to the SC/ST category then you can not apply for the UPSC exams.

Because for general the age limit is 21-30 years and for OBC is 21-33 years.

So there is only one way for you.

An UPSC exam which is conducted to fill 24 posts in Various Government departments is held in three stages:

>> Prelims

>> Mains

>> Interview

You can apply UPSC exam at age of 35 years If you are SC/ST category candidates.

General age limit is 21-30 years. Age relaxation is given to reserved category candidates.

3 years for OBC category, 5 years for SC/ST category

Education Qualification;-

You must be passed a bachelor degree from a Indian recognized university with passing marks in any stream.

Number of attempts;-

General- 4 times

OBC- 7 times

There is no limit for SS/ST category

You must be an indian.

Age Limitation:

For General 21-30 year
For OBC 21-33 year

As you have not mentioned your category, it is not possible for me to give you a precise answer.
Now look, if you belong to the general category or the obc category, then you are not allowed to give the exam as the maximum age to give this exam for the general and the obc category is 30 and 33 years respectively.
Now only if you belong to the sc/st category, then you will be eligible of giving this exam because the age limit for the sc/st candidate is 21-35 years.

If you comes into General and BC category then you are not eligible for UPSC exam.

Age Limit :

GEN : 21-30 years
BC : 21-33 years
SC/ST : 21-35 years

You are eligible only if you belong to SC/ST category.

Educational Requirements :

Candidate must be passed his/her graduation and also can apply in last year of graduation.

For that exam no percentage barrier , those candidate are also eligible which are just have passing marks in graduation.

The age limit for general category is 30 years so if you belong to general category you cannot apply but if belong to reserved categories like SC/ST, you are eligible.
The basic eligibility criteria for UPSC Exams are as follows:

The candidate must hold any degree in any discipline from any recognized university
Final year degree students are also eligible
Degree obtained by distance education/open university is also eligible if the university is a recognized university

Otherwise you can not apply for ICS at the age of 34 years.

if you are from SC/ST category then you have last chance to apply for the exam.

As you have not mentioned the name of UPSC exam,I think that you are asking about the your eligibility for the civil services examinations.The age limitations for the civil services examinations are as below:

So if you belong to sc/st then you can give the civil services examination but for one time only.If you belong to physically handicapped category then the upper age limit is 40 years.

In spite of age limitations ,you must have bachelor's degree in any stream from a recognised university.

>>You must be an Indian citizen.

The no of attempts also depends upon category to which you belong:

General:4

OBC:7

SC/ST; no limit.

Note: You have to prepare with strong determination and courage as this examinations are very tough and needs lot of labour.Try to be updated with whatever happens around you.Watch news channels and read news paper regularly so as to have command over first paper of civil services examination that is called preliminary test.The syllabus is as follows;

The other two stages are Main examination and personal interview .
