You have to start preparation from now to crack IAS exam.

IAS exam is tough exam, therefore you have to more hard work to crack this exam.

You have to follow these step to start Preparation from B.com Ist year;-

>>See tough subject and concentrate on it more time ac compare to other subjects.

>>Manage your Preparation time along to B.com Study.

>>Read English newspaper daily and watch TV news daily/Read Best magazine to increase your General Knowledge,

>>Join any best coaching center to crack this exam.

>>Practice Previous year question papers as well as online mock test to crack this exam.

>>You have to control your English language(Reading as well as Speaking)

>>Never give up

Yeah its a right time to start the preparation as I guess you're subject is also not too heavy... Try to be updated with the current affairs by reading newspapers daily...Try to be updated with the English vocabulary as far as possible...Then after graduation you can start preparing for mains...

Hello my dear Friend ...


You are still in the B.Com First year .. So Right not YOU ARE NOT ELIGIBLE TO appear for the exam

For that you must have a minimum of GRADUATION at least

So you will have to Wait for the TWO MORE years

IF you are really Interested you can start the Preparation from now Onwards

There are so many best books are available for you To prepare for the I.A.S exam

As this exam is conducted by the " Union Public Services Commission " it will be some what tough


So you must really Put a very stuff

Try to concentrate on the Core subjects from the FIRST YEAR IT SELF

And try to get good command over the English Language

You must not have any Backlogs in your Academics

You must be an Indian Citizen

Start the Preparation from now .. if you can attend the COACHING CLASSES

There is no as such time to start for the preparation. Its never too late or too early.

But I would advice you to start your preparation as early as possible because its always better to start as early as possible.

You are in your 1st year of B.com so there is much time left in your hands that if you use it worth you will surely get fruitful result.

You have approx 3 yrs left so You can either join a good coaching centre for a right guidance.

Also If you can manage studying yourself then coaching is not necessary.

You can buy some good books or you can enroll to some correspondence course which will also help you.

You have enough time left with you, so find out your strong and weak points and work accordingly and try to make your weak points the strongest.

Make a good habit of watching news channel and also reading newspapers, magazines. This will increase your reading ability and will help you in general knowledge and subjective questions like essay writing.

EXAM PATTERN OF IAS:-

1. PRELIMS (CSAT)

You have 2 papers in this which are of objective type:

• general aptitude
• general studies

2. MAINS

Mains consists of optional papers which are descriptive type.

3. INTERVIEW
