CPF stands for the Central police force examinations .It is organised once very year by the Union public service commission.In brief I want to tell you about the eligibility criteria for the examinations.
>>Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a university that is recognized UGC .If you are in final year then also you can appear for the examinations.
>>The age limitations is 20-25 years for the general category with relaxation in age for obc and sc/st respectively.
>>You must be Indian citizen.
The important dates for the CPF 2013 are as follows:
Date of notification:06/07/2013
Last date of receiving application:05/08/2013
Date of examination:20/10/2013.
Examination pattern:
Friend here I have attached the previous year papers and I would suggest you to buy a books that consists of ten practice sets along with its solutions ,it will hardly cost 200 rupees.here is the book:

Eligibility Criteria for UPSC CPF - Assistant Commandant Examination
A bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university and final year pursuing candidates are also eligible to apply
Age should not be less than 20 years and more than 25 years and relaxation in upper age as per government guidelines which is 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC category candidates
Examination Pattern for UPSC CPF examination
Paper I - General Ability and Intellegance - Objective type - 250 marks
Paper II - Essay, Precis Writing and Comprehension - Descriptive type - 150 marks
Qualifying in both papers is compulsory for every category candidate then only they will be called for interview process and personality test so that dear you have to prepare hard for this examination by using study material and some previous years question papers and I have attached some previous years question papers so please download all and get more details about the examination and question pattern of this exam
