There is the relaxation given in the number of attempts for the UPSC exams for the reserved categories.

Age relaxation is given to reserved category students;-

------3 years for obc category

-----5 years for sc/st category

-----10 years for ph candidates

General age limit is 21-30 years,

any ex serviceman can apply till 40yrs.
