Yes sure you can apply for the defence services after completing the graduation in petrolium engineering because to go for the defence services there is an examination conducted by the union public service commission of india called the CDS examination.
CDS basically means combind defence services examination .
If one apply for this then he or she may get the chance to serve the indian defence through the same.
By applying for the CDS a candidates can apply for indian army, air force, and navy.
So you should not worry whatever your interest just apply for the same.
Age requirement to apply for the CDS examination is as follows-
19 to 22 years of age is required to apply for the indian navy.
19 to 25 years for the officers training academy.
19 to 24 years for the indian millitary academy.
19 to 23 years for the air force academy.
