Am I applicable for UPSC exam after completing B.Sc degree from University of Petroleum and Energy studies (UPES) through Lateral Entry scheme?
Sir I have successfully completed three years in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering in AVIONIC (ES/IS/RN) stream from INDIAN INSTITUTE OF AERONAUTICAL SCIENCE ,JAMSHEDPUR duly approved by DGCA Govt. Of India equivalent to ICAO type-2, and I am doing my B.Sc degree from UNIVERSITY OF PETROLEUM AND ENERGY STUDIES (UPES) by LATERAL ENTRY that is giving me relaxation of 1 year and 6months that is I will be getting my DEGREE IN 1 YEAR AND 6 MONTHS through distance learning . CAN I WILL BE ELIGIBLE FOR UPSC AFTER COMPLETING B.Sc degree. Please suggest me wating for your answer.

Hi
UPSC conducts many civil service exams as well as engineering services exams.
All the exams conducted by UPSC are on the graduation level,i.e. for a candidate who wants to give the exams conducted by UPSC must have a bachelor degree.
Other eligibility for the UPSC exams are:
*Candidate must be graduate
**Degree should be from a recognised university.
***candidate must be citizen of india
****Age of candidate should be lies in between 21 - 30 years.
these are the basic eligibilities should be ion a candidate for the UPSC exam.
If you have done B.SC then you are eligible for all the exams conducted by UPSC

you are eligblie for upsc exam after completed your b.sc degree.

you must be graduate from a recognized university for this exam.
jeneral age limit is 21-30 years.
age relaxation is given by goverment rules.

Yes you can apply for the exam with out any problem
But the candidate should be pass in graduation from a recognized
Indian university and it does not matter that the degree is in
The distance mode or in the regular but the main condition
Is that the university must be a recognized university
Eligibility Required for the Civil Services Exam:
~ The Candidate must be pass in degree from a recognized university
~ The candidate of the final year can also apply for the exam
~ Or the candidate should be pass in any equivalent degree
~ The Age of Aspirant should be between 21 to 30
~ The age limit for the obc is 21 to 33
~ The age limit for the sc,st is 21 to 35
~ The age limit for the ph is 21 to 40
