NDA (National Defense Academy) is the exam conducted by UPSC( union public service commission) twice a year
The candidate should be a citizen of India.
The candidate needs to pass 10+2 from a recognized institution in India.
The age limit for the post is 16.5 years to 19 years.

Re: Syllabus and pre requisites for NDA entrance exam.
NDA stands for National Defence Academy. NDA exam is conducted for the posts in Navy, Army and Air Force. NDA exam is conducted twice as NDA-I in April and NDA-II in August months of every year by UPSC.
NDA exam is conducted in two phases:
1. Written
2. SSB
for Air Force and navy you need 12th with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or equivalent and for Army you need 12th in any discipline from recognized board or College . you can also apply for the exam while pursuing in 12th.
your age must be within 16.5 years to 19 years.there is no relaxation for any category.
you must be Indian Citizen and you should be unmarried male.

Requirements are:
For Air force minimum educational qualifications are 12th physics,chemistry,maths pattern
For Army wing 10,+2 any pattern.. candidates who are appearing for 12th can apply...
Age limit: 16.5 to 19.....Unmarried candidates are only eligible...
Candidate must be a Indian citizen...
