After passing B.E you can join Indian Air force.

For this you have to qualify the C.D.S exam.

C.D.S exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice in a year.

The age limit for N.D.A exam is 19-24 year.

The candidate must be medical fit.

NDA and CDS are two exams by which you can enter in indian air force

You can join NDA by taking the exam conducted by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). This exam is conducted twice a year in all major cities throughout India. To know more about the application process click here.
Eligibility Criteria
To join the NDA you need to fulfil the following requirements:

To Join Indian Air Force, then you can appeared for 2 UPSC Examinations i.e NDA and CDS.

UPSC Conducts both these examination twice in a year, To apply for NDA, you have to complete your 12Th examination and your age should not be more than 19 years, But for CDS Examination, you have to complete your Graduate degree first and you must have attained the age of 19 years and your age should not be more than 23 years for Air force Academy.

Those who have not eligible for NDA Examination, May apply for CDS Examination. Both these examination is conducted twice.

NDA Examination is Conducted by UPSC and to apply for this examination your age should between 16.5 to 19 years, Only Unmarried male candidates are eligible for NDA, But you have to complete your 12Th examination with maths and physics as a compulsory subjects. Final year appearing candidates are also apply for NDA Examination. For this year NDA Examination Notification was already declared and the last date of apply for this examination was already over. If you have missed to applied for NDA (I), Then please wait for NDA (II) Examination Notification. The Notification of NDA Examination will be published in May.

If you will not eligible for NDA Examination, then please appeared for CDS Examination, If you have completed your Graduate degree course. To apply for CDS Examination you have to complete your Graduation with Maths and Physics as a compulsory Subjects and your age should between 19 to 23 years (For Air Force Academy). The Notification of CDS Examination will be Published twice in the employment Newspaper.

The examination is Objective and if you cracked this examination, then you will be eligible for SSB Interview for final selection. So please prepared well and then apply for CDS Examination.

Physical Requirements :

~~ You must be in good physical and mental health and free from any disease
~~ The minimum acceptable height for male candidates is 157.5 cms. (157 cms for Navy and 162.5 cms for Air Force).
~~ For Women candidates minimum acceptable height is 152 cms.

For Male Candidates :

~~ You should be able to read 6/6 in a distant vision chart with each eye with or without glasses (For Navy and Air Force without glasses only)
~~ Myopia should not be more than 3.5D and hypermetropia not more than 3.5D including Astigmatism.

NDA exam one can appear on the bases of 12th science while in cDS exam one should require minimum graduation .

CDS Stands for Combined Defence Service Examination and this examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission twice in a year . CDS II Last date for receipt of application was already closed on 04/06/12 and the examination will be held on 19/08/12 .

Eligibility Criteria for Indian Air force ::

## Graduation with mathematics and Physics as subjects of a recognized Institute or equivalent qualification .
## Final year of degree course may also eligible to apply but pre-final year candidates are not eligible to apply .

The qualification is graduation from any stream but with physics and maths in 10+2.

CDSe is s graduate entry in air force through UPSC.

National Defence academy.
NDA(AFA)-qualification is 10+2 passed with physics and maths
Age-16.5 to 19 years-at the time of commencement of the course.

NDA is a intermediate entry through UPSc.
