Dear friend,
There are more differences between these two types of exams. The group I exams are conducted at state level for filling up the vacancies in the state government offices . Whereas the UPSC exams are conducted at national level basis for prestigious positions like, IAS, IPS, IFS, IRS and these exams are purely related to civil services alone. so try to make a clear decision now.For more details regarding UPSC visit this site http://www.upsc.gov.in .
Try to apply for the upcoming exams. look for employment newspaper for notifications from UPSC and you can also make use of their official website, being mentioned above.
all the best!!!
