I am 18 yrs old nd i am going to study for bds i want to know that when i will my bds degree how much are the chances for me to get the job in army or airforce

Duration of the B.D.S. Course is of four calendar years, followed by one year paid rotating Internship in the Dental Colleges. For MBBS degree holder the duration of the course will be two years.

The duration of the BDS course is 5 years ( 4 calendar years plus 1 year paid rotating internship in the Dental colleges).

There are good chances for getting a job in Army or Airforce after BDS, but the only condition is that you should secure minimum 60% overall in it. Moreover you need to give CDS exam conducted by UPSC and it will be a good option for you...All the Best.!!

so in totall 5 years

yes there is lot of scope for BDS students in indian defense sector

* This is a 4 year course , after which students go for a 1 year internship program.

As per your ask , i would like to tell you that yes there is scope of BDS in Indian Army as Medical assistant or you can Also join in Indian Army Dental Corps but i opine that there is no any scope for BDS in Indian Air Force.
