The Central Armed Police Force are the police force at the Central level.

The central armed police force exams are conducted by UPSC .

ELIGIBILITY FOR CAPF

*Bachelor degree

**Degree should be from recognized university

***Age must be in between 20-25 years.

****Candidate must be Physically or Mentally fit.

central armed police forces group comes under direct control of ministry of home affairs. It consists of
1) Central reserve police force
trained for controlling riots, combating naxalite attacks etc
2) Central Industrial force
for providing security to airports, important industrial establishments and PSUs
3) Indo-tibetan border police
for guarding Indo-tibet border and for rescue &relief work in Himalayas
4) sahstra seema Bal
for gurading Indo-nepal and Indo-Bhutan border
Recruitment for these central armed police force assistant commandant level is done by UPSc
whereas constable level posts are recruited by SSC

For the post of central armed police forces exam is held by the upsc.

Qualification is required for the exam is graduation in any stream from the reorganization university.

The age limit for the exam is the 20-25 years.

For CAPF the candidate must be strong as well as physical and mentally.

Male and female both are eligible for the exam.

Maximum height required for the male candidate 165 cm

Maximum height required for the Female candidate155cm

Chest of the male candidate 77cm with expand 82cm.

CAPF to control the internal problems, riots etc. it specially taken by the ministry of home affairs.
