Qualification : 10+2 (in any stream no percentage required)
Age : 16.5 years to 19 years
These are the minimum qualification for NDA exams which are conducted twice in a year on national basis. Selection will be followed by Written test and SSB.

The eligibility criteria for NDA & NA Examination are as follows:
Age Limit

The qulification for NDA exam is:

1) complete 12th or equlent to it with PCM subject.
2) The student is indian citizen.
3) Age criteria is 16.5 to 19 year.
4) The % are not affected.

Hi,

According to the eligibility criteria,the candidate must fulfill the below 2 conditions-

1)12th class pass of the 10+2 pattern of school education or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics, conducted by a state education board or a university and also Students who are appearing in the 12th class under 10+2 pattern of school education or equivalent examination can also apply for this examination.
2)Students who are appearing for the NDA exam must be unmarried males. They must be atleast 16 1/2 years and not more than 19 years on January 1st or July 1st of the year subsequent to the year of the exam.

This exam is every year conducted by the UPSC .Union Public Service Examination. This exam is going to be conducted for the two times .The candidates who will clear this exam will get the four year B.Tech course under the defence government and also he will get the opportunity to join in the Indian defence field after the course.


The candidates have Requirements


Nationality � The candidates has to belongs to the India or Nepal or Bhutan


Age limit � The candidate�s age has to be in between 16.5-19 years

Dear there are three different department under the NDA - National Defense Academy and each has different required eligibility criteria so please read the details below :

UPSC NDA - Indian Army : Candidate must have passed in class 12th in any discipline from a recognized university or board

UPSC NDA - Indian Navy : Candidate must have passed in class 12th with mathematics and physics as a compulsory subject and any one of the Biology or Chemistry or Computer Science from a recognized board or university

UPSC NDA - Indian Air Force : Candidate must have passed in class 12th with physics and mathematics as a compulsory subject and any one of the Biology/Chemistry/Computer Science from a recognized board

If you are appearing for class 12th exams or awaited for the result then also you may apply for this exam and those candidates who have passed class 10th and pursuing +1 may not apply for this exam

Age of the candidate should not be less than 16.5 years and more than 19 years and relaxation in upper age would not be provided to any category candidate at any condition
