    BASIc minimum criteria

    1. must be either in 10+2 final year or passed out from recognised board.
    2.indian nationality or subject of it.
    3. age should be within 16.5-19 years at the time of filling the form .

    NDA Stands for National Defence Academy Examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission twice in a year .

    NDA Exam for :-

    ~~Indian Army
    ~~Indian Navy
    ~~Indian Air force

    Minimum Eligibility Criteria :-

    ~~For Indian Army :- Candidate should have passed Intermediate(10+2) or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or Institution .

    ~~For Navy / Air force :- Candidate should have passed Intermediate(10+2) with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or Institution .

    Candidate who are appearing in the 12th Class Under 10+2 Pattern of School education or equivalent qualification can also eligible to apply for this examination but the candidate must submit the proof 12th passing certificate before the SSB Interview .

    Candidate age is not more than 19 years and not less than 16.5 years at the time of appearing for this examination and Upper age limits is applicable for NDA examination .

    Candidate must be Physically and Mentally fit according to the physical Standards of NDA examination .

    Important thing if you are not completed Intermediate (12th) exam then you can't apply for this examination . But if you are finished the 12th examination then you are eligible to apply but your age lies be between 16.5 years and 19 years .

    Minimum eligibility criteria:
    must be indian citizen
    must be 12th passed with atleast 55% marks
    eye sight must be strong
    age limit in between 16 to 19 years.

    The eligibility criteria for the NDA exam is below :
    -> one should done their 12th from any recognized board .
    -> one age should be between 16.5-19 years .
    -> For navy & air force one should pass the 12th with maths subject .
    -> only unmarried male candidates are eligible for the exam .

    So anyone who fulfill the above criteria are eligible for the exam .

    Hi...friend
    the minimum eligibility to write NDA exam is ..
    you must have 10+2 with any percentage
    and your age should be below 19 years
    on qualifying NDA exam you may go for navy ,airforce and army
    some times they can hire in the position of special commanders
    coming to height you must be 157 without any disability
    eye sight is 6/6 aspect
    there is no age relaxation will be provided in defense jobs
    if your age will be above 19 years then may go for apply cds exam
    otherwise you go head with nda exam
    any way good luck ..

    Eligibility Criteria for NDA:

    • Candidates who have cleared 10+2 and those who are currently doing can apply
    • Those who had taken Physics & Mathematics in Class 12th can apply for navy and air force.
    • Candidates appearing for the exam must be bachelors .They must be between 16 1/2 to 19 years i.e. not before 1st July, 1994 & not later than 1st January, 1997.

    • Non-permanent citizens of India are not allowed to apply
    • Nationalities of Nepal, Bhutan and Tibetan refugee can apply only if they have migrated to India with a purpose to become permanent citizens of India prior to January 1st
    • In case candidates origin is from India but actually migrated from either neighboring countries of India or East Africa nations like Uganda and Kenya can apply provided they are planning to permanently settle in India.
    • Gorkha category of Nepal need not submit any proof


    Physical Requirements :

    >> You must be in good physical and mental health and free from any disease
    >> The minimum acceptable height for male candidates is 157.5 cms.
    >> For Women candidates minimum acceptable height is 152 cms.
    >> You should be able to read 6/6 in a distant vision chart with each eye with or without glasses
    >> Myopia should not be more than 3.5D and hypermetropia not more than3.5D including Astigmatism.

    Hi Aspirant,


    UPSC conducts the NDA exam twice in a year for the officer post in defense service.

    UPSC organizes this exam at all India Level.


    Eligibility for NDA exam

    You should be Intermediate Qualified from recognized board.

    You must have math and physics subjects to go in navy and Air force.

    No percentage of marks required.

    Age should be 16.5 to 19 years

    You must be Indain.

    For Air Force height should be between 157 to 162 cm.

    Only unmarried male can apply for this exam.

    You should be physically fit



    Exam Pattern

    Written test

    Paper I

    Mathematics (300 marks)

    Paper II

    General ability test ( 300 marks)


    Interview

    After qualifying written exam you will be called for Interview.

    the acronym NDA stands for national defence academy.

    the minimum eligibility criteria for NDA entrance exam is as follows:

    1.academics qualification

    >>minimum 10+2 passed or appearing with mathematics and english as compulsory subjects.

    >>your education board should be recognised.

    2.age limitations:

    >>your age should lie between the range of 16.5 to 19 years.

    3.nationality:

    >>must be indian citizen

    4.you must fulfill all the eligibility criteria.

    5.paper pattern:

    >>written test:

    paper I and paperII

    >>paperI consists of mathematics and paper II contains general awareness inclyding physics,chemistry,english and current affairs.

    after you qualify for this phase ,you have go for ssb which means service selection board where you will have to give interview and medical test.

    NDA means National Defence Academy and the exam is conducted by UPSC.

    To give NDA Exam, one should pass 12th class or at least studying 12th class from recognized board.

    Candidate should be Unmarried male and minimum age is 16.5 years and maximum is 19 years.

    Required eligibility conditions are as follows:

    For Army: 12th pass from recognized board.

    For Air force, Navy and Naval academy: 12th pass with physics and maths as subjects from recognized board.

    Exam Pattern:

    >> Written exam

    >> Interview

    >> Medical test

    Important dates of NDA-II Exam 2013:

    Date of notification: 04-05-2013.

    Last date for receipt of applications: 03-06-2013.

    The UPSC conducts the NDA examination for three wings- Indian Air Force, Indian Navy and Indian Army. The essential qualification for the examination is to pass the 10+2 Science from a recognized Board.
