For the SCRA exam the candidate must have complete the higher secondary/appear in the class

The age limit for the 17 to 21 years.

The exam complete in a one day.

Three paper takes by the upsc in one day for the SCRA Exam

Three exams like as:-

1. General Ability (G.K)

2. General Science (Physics & Chemistry)

3. Mathematics.

There is negative mark for the wrong answer.

SCRA is the Special class railway apprentice examination.

This examination is conducted by UPSC every year.The SCRA for 2012 has been finished .The important dates regarding 2013 SCRA examination is as below:

Date of notification:13/10/2012

Date of last receiving application:12/11/2012

Date of examination:20/01/2013.

The requirements for this examination is below;

>>10+2 from a recognised board with PCM as compulsory subjects

>>You should be between 17-21 years

>>you must be an Indian citizen

Dear

SCRA (Special Class Railway Apprentices ) is conducted by upsc.

For this candidate age should be between 17-21 years

Candidate should be 12th pass with mathematics and at least one of the subject Physics and Chemistry as subject of the Examination.

Exam Pattern:

Written Test: It consists three papers with objective type question and question paper given in English Language only.

Paper-I : General Ability Test (English, General Knowledge and Psychological Test) : Marks 200 Time : 2 hours

Paper-II : Physical Science (Physics and Chemistry) : Marks 200 Time : 2 hours

Paper-III: Mathematics Marks : 200 Time : 2 hours

Total Marks 600

Interview/ Personality Test: Those candidate who qualify the written test are eligible for interview.

Document Verification: Document verification will be held after the candidate has qualified for interview or Personality Test.
