the eligebel for writing civil services exam is -
you should be a graduate and those who are in their final year of graduation can also apply,but by the time exam results are out you should get your all original certificates with you.

diploma holders are not allowed to give the upsc exam because the minimum educational requirement to give the exam is that you should be a graduate. If now also you can go and get a degree, after that you can give the upsc exam

Sorry friend, you are not eligible for Civil ServiceExam after completing diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

Because this exam is only applicable for those candidates who is completed his /her graduation in any degree from any recognized university.

Eligibility criteria for this exam :-

1] Age limit :- The age limit of the candidate must be between 21 years to 30 years.

There is also a age relaxation provided to SC/ ST/ OBC category candidate as per government rule.

Upper age limit for :-

>> For SC/ ST :- 5 years

>> For OBC :- 3 years

2] Educational qualifications :-

> The candidate must be completed his/ her bachelor degree in any discipline from any recognized university.

> The candidate who is appearing in final year can apply for this exam.

The minimum required eligibility is Graduation to apply for Civil services.You need to complete your graduation or you can apply while you are in final year of graduation.If you want to appear in Civil services apply for your B.tech degree course in a regular college through lateral entry for Diploma candidates or go for AMIE.You can not apply while you are diploma passed

Sorry, you can't appear for the Civil Service examination after completing Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. The minimum qualification for it is to pass or final year in Bachelor degree in any discipline at any recognized university. The age limit is also within 21-30 years. The upper age limit for the examination is 03 years for OBC, 05 years for SC/ST candidates. There is also 04 attempts for General candidates, 07 attempts for OBC and up to 35 years of age for SC/ST candidates. You can also visit www.upsc.gov.in Thanks...

No after completing your diploma you are not eligible to apply for the Civil Services exams conducted by the UPSC...

To apply for these exam you will have to complete at least graduation or the equivalent courses..

Age Criteria to apply for this exam ::::

21-30 for general category

21-33 for OBC category

21-35 for SC/ST category

21-40 for physically handicapped .

Number of Attempts :::

::4 attempts for general category

::7 attempts for OBC category

::no limit for SC/ST category

You must be a citizen of India...
