Dear Applicant,
- The CENTRAL POLICE FORCE [ Assistant Commandant's] exams is conducted annually by the UPSC.

- The minimum essential educational qualifications to appear these exams is completing your Graduation or Equivalent,with any subject,from a university recognized by the UGC.

- Hence,if you have completed your Graduation in English Literature,from a university recognized by the recognized by the Directorate of Distance Education,then you can definitely appear for the CPF exams.

� The COMPLETE ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA for the CPF exams is mentioned below ::

01. NATIONALITY.
You must be a Citizen of India.

02. AGE LIMITS.
You must be 20 To 25 Years of age.
Relaxations are allowed according to Government Norms.

03. ESSENTIAL EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS.
You must hold Degree of Graduation or Equivalent,from any recognized university,under any subject or stream.
Only the passing percentage in aggregate is required.
Final Year students are also applicable.

04. SEX.
Both the Males and Female candidates are
eligible for CISF and CRPF.
Although,for SSB,BSF and ITBP only Male candidates
are eligible.

05. NUMBER OF ATTEMPTS.
There is no restriction on the number of attempts ,provided you meet the eligibility criteria.

� While the notifications regarding the release of application forms are declared in May,the exams are supposedly conducted in October.
