Hi Aspirant,

Sorry friend you can not apply for civil service exam in 2013.

You are over aged for the preparation of civil service exam.

The maximum age limit to apply for civil service exam is 30 years but your age will be 33 years in 2013 which make you ineligible for civil service exam.

If you belong to SC/ST category then you can apply for civil service exam.

Here I explain the eligibility conditions for civil exam in details

You must have bachelor degree in any stream from recognized university or its equivalent.

Final year candidates can also apply for civil service exam.

There are no restriction of percentage in civil exam

Age should be between 21 to 30 years.

Age relaxation

SC/ST + 5 years

OBC + 3 years

PH + 10 years

You must be the citizen of India.

So friend you can apply for CS exam if you belong to SC/ST category, otherwise you should see for the private sector job.

Civil service exam is conducted once in a year for the recruitment of candidates at the high level post of Administration.

The exam pattern of civil service exam is quite tough. But still it can be cracked by hard determination.

Friend for the preparation of civil service exam you should join any good coaching where you could get study material and proper direction in right way.


Friend you should use reference books and NCERT books for the preparation.

For the mathematics you can use RS Agrwal books.

For the preparation you can also use the books of MC graw hill publication, there study material and content writing are quite good.

You should also practice previous year question paper.
