    Brief information about Indian Administrative Services? Where can I get previous question papers of IAS exam?

    sir , i am persueing my degree final year .b.com (computers), my aim is to become an ias, vil u please help me in this, i need information about, is i am eligibility with my degree b.com ,when wil exams conductd, where i should take the application form for ias, totally i need brief information about ias, and also i need all the previous years ias examination papers , sir please help me in this, i vil be very thankfull to u by helping me in this,

    Dear Aspirant
    Civil Service examination is conducted by UPSC
    You may get previous years question papers from UPSC official websites (www.upsc.gov.in)
    Eligibility criteria You must be graduate from recognized university.
    Age limits
    Minimum 21 years of age and maximum 30 years of age.However upper age limit is relaxable for 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST

    Examination pattern is given below:
    Paper I of preliminary examination consists of following syllabus
    1)Current events of national and international importance.
    2)History of India and Indian National Movement.
    3)Indian and World Geography - Physical, Social, Economic Geography of India and the World.
    4)Indian Polity and Governance - Constitution, Political System, Panchayati Raj, Public Policy, Rights Issues, etc.
    5) Economic and Social Development Sustainable Development, Poverty, Inclusion, Demographics, Social Sector initiatives, etc.
    6)General issues on Environmental Ecology, Bio-diversity and Climate Change
    7)General Science.
    Paper II- (200 marks) Duration: Two hours
    1)Comprehension Interpersonal skills including communication skills;
    2)Logical reasoning and analytical ability
    3)Decision-making and problem-solving
    4)General mental ability Basic numeracy (numbers and their relations, orders of magnitude, etc.) (Class X level),
    5)Data interpretation (charts, graphs, tables, data sufficiency etc. - Class X level)
    6)English Language Comprehension skills (Class X level).

    In Mains examination it consists of four paper of conventional types
    Main Examination

    Paper-I Section 1 Essay 200 Marks
    Section 2 English Comprehension & English Pr�cise 100 Marks (Of Matriculation/ Xth standard level)
    Paper 2:General Studies�I Indian Heritage and Culture, History and Geography of the World and Society 250 marks
    Paper 3:General Studies �II Governance, Constitution, Polity, Social Justice and International relations 250marks
    Paper 4:General Studies �III Technology, Economic Development, Bio-diversity, Environment, Security and Disaster Management 250marks
    Paper 5:General Studies �IV Ethics, Integrity and Aptitude 250 marks
    Paper 6:Optional Subject � Paper 1 250 Marks
    Paper 7:Optional Subject � Paper 2 250 Marks
