If you have a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university and your age is between 21-30 years then you can apply for this exam and final year pursuing candidates are also eligible to apply for this exam and relaxations in upper age as per government guidelines which is 5 years for SC/ST category candidates and 3 years for OBC category candidates

I have attached some question paper to prepare for IAS exam please download all and prepare well for this exam because UPSC board has been scheduled the exam dates for next civil services exam which is following :

Start date for online application - 02-02-2013

Last date for online application - 04-03-2013

Date for USPC IAS exam - 19-05-2013

dear aspirant,ELIGIBILITY FOR IAS:-

Candidates who have completed their graduation from any stream are eligible for the exam.
Candidates who have completed any professional or technical studies can also apply.
There is no minimum requirement of marks for writing this test. Candidates having a pass mark can apply.
Those who are appearing or the final year of the qualifying examination can also attend the test.
Only those candidates who are citizens of India can appear for IAS and IPS.
The age limit is between 21 years to 30 years.
For OBC- 21-33 years
For SC/ST- 21-35 years

Number attempts :

4 attempts for General candidates.
7 attempts for OBC candidates.
There is no limits for SC/ST candidates.
