    dear aspirant,


    SCRA stands for Special Class Railways apprentices. The

    exam is conducted by UPSC for the posts in Railways. To appear in

    SCRA exam you must completed or appearing in 12th with Math and

    Physics subjects from recognized shool or college.

    Eligibility Criteria:

    >>12th with math and Physics

    >>your age must be within 17 years to 21 years

    SCRA stands for Special Class Railway Apprentice.

    this exam is the exam of railway sector which is conducted by UPSC.

    Eligibility criteria is

    candidate Should have passed 12th with one compulsory subject maths.

    candidate who are appearing their 12th exam are also eligible for SCRA 2013

    Age criteria is

    candidate must be in between 17 to 21 year

    ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:-

    you should have to passed 12th class from the recognized board.

    age should be 17 to 21 years for all category.

    SCRA ( Special Class Railway Apprentices) exam conducted by upsc every years

    Eligibility Criteria for SCRA is:

    Age Limitation:

    For General 17-21 years
    For OBC 17-24 years
    For SC/ST 17-26 years
    Ex-Servicemen +5 years

    Educational Qualification:

    12th Pass from any recognized board with mathematics and at least one of the subject Physics and Chemistry as subject of the examination.


    Selection processors:

    2. Interview or Personalty Test
    3.Documents Verification

    SCRA-stands for Special Class Railway Apprentice is a entrance exam through which candidates are selected for the undergraduate program in mechanical engineering at Indian Railway Institute of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering,Jamalpur.

    After they complete their training they are assigned to the highest level positions in railway organization i,e is Group A officers.
    The educational qualification required is class 10+2 passed with maths and one of the subjects among physics and chemistry.

    The age limit-17 to 21 year,no relaxation for any category.

    Hello friend,
    SCRA is simply known as special class railway apprentices . SCRA is a very big organization of Indian railway recruitment board.Every year many of the students are appeared the SCRA exam but near about 100 are selected.

    Eligibility required for SCRA exam:

    Educational Qualification:- 12th/+2 pass with Math and Physics or chemistry from any recognized University.

    Age:- Between 17 years to 21 year

    You must be an Indian Citizen.

    According to the new rule the exam is now conducted once every two year.

    The notification for the exam along with form & syllabus is brought out by UPSC around the month of June/ July.

    SCRA or Special class railway apprentices examination conducted by UPSC per year.
    Age Limits-
    1-A candidate must have attained the Age of 17 years and must not have attained
    the Age of 21.
    2-Scheduled Caste or a Scheduled Tribe:upto the maximum of 5 years.
    EDUCATION QUALIFICATION-
    1-First or second division in the intermediate or an equivalent Examination
    of a University or Board approved by Government of India with Mathematics
    and atleast one of the subjects Physics and Chemistry as the subject of Examination.
    2-Graduates with mathematics and atleast one of the subjects Physics and chemistry
    as their degree subjects.

    SCRA Stands for Special Class Railway Examination and this examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission Once in a year. This year examination has been completed and Next notification will be publish in the month of October or November in the official website of UPSC as well as employment news paper.

    Eligibility Criteria ::


    -You must be Citizen of India Or Subject of Bhutan OR subject of Nepal.
    -You must have a completed 12th with Mathematics and at least any of the subjects of Physics and Chemistry as subjects.
    -You must have a completed 12th exam from a recognized Institution.
    -Even graduate degree may also eligible to apply but you must have a Mathematics and at least any of the subjects of Physics and Chemistry as subjects.
    -You must have a minimum 17 years and maximum 21 years.
    -Upper age limits is applicable.
    -You are required to apply online only and there is no offline facility .

    How to Apply ::

    You are required to apply online by using the official website of UPSC :: Online. The Online Application link will be visible at the time of notification. You are required to pay the fees of Rs 100/- either by cash in State Bank of India Branches or either by internet banking or either by Visa/Master Credit/Debit cards. There is no fees for female candidates of SC/ST/PH candidates.

    Scheme of Examination ::

    -General Knowledge :: 200 Marks
    -Physical Sciences :: 200 Marks
    -Mathematics :: 200 Marks
    -The Question papers in all the section will consist of multiple choice question only.
    -The Question paper will set only in English

    Friend, for SCRA you should have passed or appearing in XII with PCM,you must be Indian of age 16.5 -19 years. All the best.

    Eligibility conditions are as follows:

    Age criteria:

    Minimum: 17 years

    Maximum: 21 years.

    There is age relaxation as follows

    3 years for OBC.

    5 years for SC/ST.

    Exam pattern of SCRA:

    It consists of 3 subjects.

    General ability test

    Physical sciences

    Mathematics

    Each subject consists of 200 marks, total 600 marks.

    After qualifying this written exam, candidates have to undergo Personality test/ Interview.

    Dates for SCRA Exam 2014:

    DATE OF NOTIFICATION:- 05.10.2013

    LAST DATE FOR RECEIPT OF APPLICATIONS:- 04.11.2013 (MONDAY)

    DATE OF COMMENCEMENT OF EXAM:- 12.01.2014 (SUNDAY)

    DURATION OF EXAM:- 1 DAY
