Dear friend,
Yes of course. why not? Have confidence yourself. Nothing is impossible in this world.
After doing your BE you will become graduate and hence eligible for the exam.
But just becoming eligible is not going to do much.
Everything depends on your preparation. If you really want to crack UPSC exam then you will really have to work hard to crack the exam.
See friend if you work hard then one year preparation is enough for the exam otherwise years of preparation will also not do anything.
I just want to tell you that as you finish your BE devote 1 year fully for Civil services exam preparation.
Join some coaching classroom program , or if you are fully confident then its not a compulsion to join coaching.
Just buy some good study material and prepare from that.
I would like to advice you not to buy many books for just 1 subject as it will just increase your confusion.
So stick to a particular study material either any coaching or other good publications.
Complete that and revise as many times as you can.
Join some test series which will give you an idea about your weak and strong points and you can prepare then according to that.
If you follow these tips you will surely crack the exam.

Re: Will I be able to crack UPSC exam after BE?
====================================
Hi,
See,anyone candidate can crack UPSC exam given that he/she puts in his/her 100% hardwork!
I will suggest you to take up coaching classes and take it very seriously since you have only 1 year left in BE.
Here are few things that can help you in cracking the exam!
To improve your writing skills, you should read books, newspapers and magazines. When you read articles, you'll come across many new words and expressions, phrases and idioms and you'll also get to know on how you should use them in sentences.
While you are reading, jot down the new words that you come across on a paper and write down their meaning.
Keep revising these words.
Also keep in mind one thing that it is the self study and the amount of hard work that you put after going back home is really what matters.
Revise all the notes given by the teachers at the coaching centre.
Keep doing hard work and burn your night lamps!
