>> What is worth mentioning here that you can apply for the OTA and IMA only and not for the Navy and Air Force.
>> The age limits for Air Force is 19 to 22 years while that for Navy is 19 to 23 years.

• Yes you can apply for the combined defence services (CDS) examination in the month of february 2013.
• But you must note that you can not be able to apply for indian army, indian navy, and indian air force.
• You can apply for the officer training academy only through CDS exam.
• You need graduation in any stream from an recognised university.
• The age limit for this academy is 19 years to 25 years.
• No age relaxations is provided to any category student.

Being a 24 years old candidate then definitely you are eligible to apply for the CDS Examination . 2013 announcement was already announced and details is available in the official website of UPSC . This examination is conducted twice in a year by UPSC as namely CDS I and CDS II .

==>> Date of commencement :: 10.11.12
==>> Last date for receipt of application :: 10.12.12
==>> Date of examination :: 17.02.13

Eligibility Criteria for CDS Examination ::

If your age is 24 years old then you are eligible to apply for IMA and OTA Examination . IMA Stands for Indian Military Academy Examination and OTA Stands for Officer Training Academy Examination . Both the services are comes under the CDS Examination .

Minimum Academic Qualification is required to apply for CDS Examination is that candidate should have a graduate degree with any desire subject from a recognized University or equivalent qualification and there is no percentage bar required for this examination . Those who are possessing in the final year of degree course may also eligible .

The age limits for IMA exam is 19 years to 24 years and for OTA exam is 19 years to 25 years . Only Unmarried male candidates are eligible for IMA Exam and both the Unmarried male / female candidates are eligible to apply for the OTA Examination .

So if you are satisfy the above eligibility criteria then you are eligible to apply for the CDS Examination .
