And if you really fulfill the below eligibility criteria then ... you can undoubtedly apply for it
You must have a minimum of 21 years
Maximum age must not exceed 30 years
Relaxation ....OBC -- 3 years
SC / ST -- 5 years

And you must have minimum of Graduation from a recognized university
And the graduation may be of any stream

If you complete the graduation in any stream
And complete the age 21 years. (age limit 21 to 30 year)
Age relaxation for the reserve category

Friend. it does not matter that whether you have any gap between your studies or not. Civil Service Examination does not have anything with any gap during the study. You just required any graduation degree in order to be eligible for civil service examination.
