Can I apply for NDA having defective eye sight of 1 and 1.5 respectively? Required percentage in 12th class to be eligible for NDA?

(1) i have eye sight of 1,1.5 can i apply for nda.

According to NDA exam Vision Eligibility is

Without Glasses

Better Eye sight � 6/6
Worse Eye Sight � 6/9

With Eye glasses

Better eye sight � 6-6
Worse eye sight � 6/6


Apart from this Vision eligibility you should have also Physical eligibility also .The candidates should physically fit as specified in the Notification. The candidates should not suffer from the any of the diseases.

The candidates height should be minimum

For the Indian Army 157.5 cm
For the Indian Navy � 157.5 cm
For the Indian Air force � 162.5 cm

The candidates must have chest of 82 cm and minimum expansion of 5 cm

The candidates are selected on Interview and Medical Examination

Education Qualification

The candidates should complete Intermediate from the recognized college

If you have completed 12th standard from recognized board with science department you are applicable for NDA exam.But your age should be in between 16.5 to 19 years.

Maximum time they have reject the candidate of eye-sight problem.You must checked the criteria of eye-sight .If you have matched it then you can definitely applicable.



Your eyesight have minor problem so i think you are eligible for NDA exam.

The eligibility for MBA is as follows :-

1. Candidate must have 16.5 minimum and 19 years of maximum age
2. No relaxation is given to anybody and selection is purely on merit basis
3. Only Males candidate can apply, females are not allowed
4. Only Indian citizen are eligible,
5. Only unmarried candidate are eligible
6. Maths and Physics should be compulsory subject for Air force and Navy
7. Any subject is okay for Army


Dear you are going for a Officer in Indian Armed Forces where you can not get recruited if you have bad vision.

Solution:-

You can go for a laser Operation but remember they might catch you so be safe

Only 12th pass is enough and no need of getting good percentage.

if the vision of both of your eyes is 6/6 with spects then you are eligible for nda. there is no such criteria of percentage in class 12th in nda.
