Eye sight no is depend in selection for ips??
I have 7no in each eyes..but want tp joint ips and give upsc exam...can i eligible??

Friend, you have very high degree of myopia. This is a matter of concern. Please note that candidate with such type of high degree of defects in eye sight are not considered fit for IPS, Military Forces and Para-Military Forces. But you can apply for IAS Examination and other UPSC Examination except CDS Examination.Today, medical science is so developed. You can go for correction of defects in eye sight. There is the option of LASIK SURGERY. For this, you have to consult reputed & qualified Opthalmologist or Eye Surgeon and seek his advice.

You are not eligible for IAS exam because the eligibility criteria for IAS/IPS exam is minimum bachelor degree in any field from recognized University.
