Will I get selected into Indian Army through NDA entrance having defective eye sight (-4.25 each)?

I want to join The Indian Army through NDA, but I wear spectacles. My vision power is -4.25 in each eyes. Please guide me whether I will be eligible for selection for the NDA???

Dear AspirantAs you already know that NDA conducts medical test of all candidates for Appear in exam.so I afraid to inform you that you can't appear in exam with eye sight(-4.5)because you haven't clear the medical test with eye defect.so I suggest you to apply foranother government examI am afraid to inform you that you can't able to apply for any exam of army,Navy or Air force.because these all needs complete eye sight for appear in exam.All The Best

NDA(National Defence Academy)entrance examination is conducted by UPSC twice in a year.According to

NDA Eligibility you can not write NDA entrance examination having defective eye sight(-4.25).

NDA ELIGIBILITY:-

1.A 12th standard ca do NDA.

2.The age of the NDA candidate must be within 16 1/2 years to 19 years.

3.An unmarried Indian male can do NDA entrance examination.

4.NDA Candidates'eye sight must be normal 6''/6'' free from color blind and night blind.

5.Height must not be less than 157.5 cms.

for nda candidate should be totally fit according nda physically fitness requirement .
eye side should be- 6 x 6
height - 165 cm
age - 16.5 to 19
qualification - 12 th pass if you want to join army other wise if you want to join navy or air force then 12 th with pcm
so that no chance for you to join nda services .

my side it is a big noooo .. for you.
becuz if you want to interest in NDA then your eye sight should be 6/6 to 6/9 only.
If you don't complete this term and condition then you cann't .

Dear Aspirant,Generally you must have a normal eyesight without any lasik surgery.orUncorrected without glass - 6/6.orCorrected with glass - 6/6.Except this sight measures nothing is accepted.So check for your sight.IF you dont know the right eye sight go to nearest eye clinic and check the sight.Then apply for it because after selection if you are rejected in the physical test it pains a lot from inside.By that you'll get demoralised so my suggestion is to go for the doctors and take suggestion from them try to reduce the eyesight naturally.There are many ways to reduce the eyesight and correcting it.1.Yoga2.DietThese are the two things by which you can get the good results.Hope you get what you needed.Hope this info helps you.

Qualifications are:

1. eye sight should be correct only 6/6 is accepted

2. Candidate should not have color blindness or night blindness.

3. height : 158 cms

4. age 16.5 - 19 years.

5. 10+2 degree

No you can not enter Army with this vision.The minimum accepted eye power is 2.5D for Myopia i.e. minus power and 3.5D for Hypermetropia(+ power)..You can check that in the notification of NDA.The allowed vision is higher for CDS i.e. exam after graduation.So you can try in that if your eyesight improves naturally till then to some extent.My power reduced from -5 to -3 so I can hope for you as well.All the best
