Yeah surely you can take Botany or zoology as your optional subjects... no problem with it .
But, it's odd for a B.Sc. (Maths) aspirants to take Botany Or Zoology as their optional subjects.
But if you are really good at them.. then please go for it... it's no problem for UPSC. Then also you are full eligible.
yes if you are interested in botany and zoology then you can opt for these subjects instead of maths.
