SCRA stands for SPECIAL CLASSES RAILWAYS APPRENTICE cnducted by UPSC .
SCRA ELIGIBILITY:-
you should have to passed 12th class from the recognized board.
age should be 17 to 21 years .
you should be indian.
if you have these criteria then you can apply for SCRA EXAM.

you can give scra exam conditional passed 12th class & must have attained 17 years of age and must not have completed 21 years on 1st August of the year of examination. Certain categories of persons as specified in the Notice are eligible for age relaxation.

Eligibility for SACRA is;
Age Limits:
Age should be between 17-21 years
OBC 17-24 years
SC/ST 17-26 years
Ex-servicemen +5 years
Educational Qualification:
Candidate must have passed in the First or Second division, the intermediate or an equivalent Examination of a recognized board wit Mathematics and at least one of the subject Chemistry and Physics as subject of the examination OR
Graduate with mathematics and at least one of the subject Physics and chemistry as their degree subject may also apply

YES YOU CAN APPLY FOR SCRA EXAMS BEING A DIPLOMA HOLDER.
The eligibility criteria for applying in the UPSC SCRA exams is.
~Must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board.
~Must have mathematics and any one subject between physics and chemistry.
~Age limit-17 to 21 years.
So according to the first criteria ,you are eligible as it is mentioned that the 12 passed or equivalent examination passed and diploma is nothing but very much equal to 10+
2,it is equivalent to 10+2 only.
In the second criteria it is required mathematics and any one of the subjects among physics and chemistry,so as you have studied diploma you must have studied mathematics and physics and chemistry.
Age limit-you must this criteria properly.

SCRA stands for Special Class Railway Apprentice. SCRA Exam is conducted by UPSC every year for the recruitment of candidates in the Indian Railways in the officer cadre.
The basic eligibility criteria for SCRA Exam are as follows:
Age Limit
17 to 21 years
Marital Status
The candidate should be unmarried.
Nationality
The candidate should be Indian.
Educational Qualification
For Army: 12th class pass of 10+2 of school education pattern or equivalent examination conducted by State Education Board or University.
For Air Force, Navy & Naval Academy: 12th class pass of 10+2 of school education pattern or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by State Education Board or University.
