the eligibility criteria is same for both the exam

the exam held in the year of the 2013

CDS exam (1). 2003, notification of the exam is released in the month of the november-2012 and exam held in the month of the february-2013.

CDS Exam (11) 2013 notification is decleared by the upsc in the month of the May and exam is held in the month of the septembere

Yes CDS Exam is conducted by UPSC twice a year for the recruitment of candidates in the Indian Military Academy (IMA), Naval Academy (NA), Air Force Academy (AFA), Officers Training Academy (OTA).

The eligibility criteria for CDS Exam are as follows:
Nationality:
The candidate must be Indian.

Age Limit: Male candidates (Unmarried) of age between
(i) For IMA: 19-24 years.
(ii) For Indian Naval Academy: 19-22 years.
(iii) For Air Force Academy: 19-23 years.
(iv) For OTA: Male candidates (married or unmarried) of age between 19-25 years.
(v) For OTA: Unmarried Women of age between 19-24 years.

Educational Qualification:
(i) For I.M.A. and OTA: Degree of a recognized University or equivalent.
(ii) For Indian Naval Academy: Degree in Engineering.
(iii) For Air Force Academy: Degree of a recognized University (with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) or Bachelor of Engineering.
Final year students can also apply.

UPSC conducts the Combined Defence Services(CDS) Exam twice a year.
CDS I Exam 2013 will be held on 17.02.2013.
CDS II Exam 2013 will be held on 08.09.2013.

After clearing CDS Exams candidates join the Naval Academy,Airforce Academy,Indian Military Academy(IMA) and Officers Training Academy(OTA).

Eligibility For CDS Exams :

There is no relaxation of age limit for any category of candidates.

the eligibility criter of both the exam are same

CDS I exam is held in months of faburary. its notification is released in the month of November of last year.

CDS II exam is held in the month september. its notification released in the months of may and closing date in june
