How to get prepared for CDS exam? What are the required qualifications for it?

I'am pursuing my b.com 2nd year. and i want to join army, so how should i prepare for cds exam and what's the require qualification to fill the cds form ?

Sorry, dear you don't apply for CDS exam. Bcoz its graduate base exam after completion your graduation you can apply for it. Its required qualification minimum graduate.

CDS stands for the Combined defence services.This examinations is one of the gateway for any candidate to get entry in to any of the three academies of the defence that are:

Indian Military academy

Indian Naval academy

Officer's Training academy.

It is conducted twice every year by the UPSC.The important dates for the CDSI had already passed.For CDS II the registration will start form the 25/05/2013 and end on 24/06/2013.

Now coming to the eligibility criteria for the CDS examinations:

Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a university that is recognized by UGC is the minimum academic requirement.However final year candidates are also eligible to apply for the exam.

The age limitations is different for the different academy.The minimum age limit is 19 years and upper age limit depends upon academies:

IMA:24 years

INA:22 years

OTA:25 years

Both male and female candidates are eligible to apply.You must be an Indian citizen.

For better preparation ,you may join any of the following coaching centers:

1.Minerva academy

2.Disha classes

3.Baalnoi academy

4.Career point.
