Clear my confusion regarding UPSC registration under educational qualification cell. Which option should I select from the drop down box?

hello there..
Actually i have one doubt that what should i select in upsc registration form for the cell named educational qualification ? there are two options are there in drop down
1)appeared/appearing at the requisite qualifying exam with prescribed subject
2)already passed requisite examination with prescribed subject

& right now i m doing computer engineering.. & on this 28 may my b.tech will b completed. so what should i select from above two options ?

You are currently doing your B.Tech.(Computer engineering),you are in the final year.

You will be appearing in the B.Tech.exams and finish it by 28th May and your results will be awaited.

So,you should select the first option from the drop down menu box i.e.

appeared/appearing at the requisite qualifying exam with prescribed subject.

your question is very good and it will be helpful for many aspirants because many aspirants have confusion in their mind about the same.



if you completed your graduation right the time of filling application form than you should choose the second option as your qualification .

but if you are in final year or awaiting for result than you should choose the first option .

because here 'requisite examination 'means final year examination of your graduation .

so

if you are in final year than:"- choose first option.
and
if you are passed in your graduation than :- choose second option.

Since, you have completed your Graduation in Computer Engineering right now you have to select "already passed requisite examination with prescribed subject". But, don't mind, suppose if your Graduation is not cleared at the time of form filling than you have to select 1st option "appeared/appearing at the requisite qualifying exam with prescribed subject". so, good luck....

as you said that your B.tech is not completed jet and it means that you are appearing in final year of graduation(B.tech).

so you have to choose first option

1). appeared/appearing at requisite qualifying exam with prescribed subjects.
