I hope that you have some basic knowledge about CSAT exam and Pattern of CSAT Exam.

If you do not have knowledge CSAT Exam, here is some info:


CSAT Exam Contains Two Papers, Each of 200 Marks.

And all Question are of Objective type.

Paper-I General Studies and Current Affairs

Paper-II General Aptitude

For General Category Combined score of Both Paper is must be 50% to get Select for Mains Exam.

>> CSAT Exam in Taken to Select Candidates for Mains Exam.

>> You can give Following times Attempt according to Category:

General Category: 4 Attempts

OBC: 7 Attempts

PH: 7 Attempts

SC/ST: No Limits

>> About Preparation:

There are many other study material that are important in CSAT Exam.

Like:

History,

Sociology.

Geography,

Indian Constitution,

English.

>> But Sociology is important then all other and has large data.

>> So If you want to Give Civil Service Exams like IAS,CDS then you must have deep knowledge of Sociology.

>> You can prepare for it by referring books of Standard 7 to 12th of NCERT.

>> Watch News On TV Daily in English.

>> Regular Reading Of Magazine like Chronicle, Kurukshetra, Yojana and India Today.

Start solving previous years GS questions and daily solve aptitude and reasoning questions.You may prefer some of the books for following

These books will be sufficient for your preparation.You may get them on Flipkart (online).One advice is there please do have a review of book before buying a books if you think some other book told by someone is better please go for it.Because there are hundreds of publications every one presents almost same thing in different ways.So the selection of book may vary person to person.
